Benefits Administration Assistance - Full Suite:

  • Enrollment support for new hires, changes, terminations

  • Reconciliation of carrier-billing against employee-eligibility and enrollment

  • Review and reconcile HRIS-EDI discrepancy reports; oversee resolution process

  • Oversee and correspond with Third Party Administrator (TPA) for Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) transactions

  • Work with COBRA Administrator to ensure all notification, enrollment, and termination requirements are being met

  • Provide weekly report with status-updates

  • Provide employees with direct access to a Benefits Administrator via team email and phone (during business hours 8-5 PST) for assistance in managing their benefits

Benefits Administration Assistance - A la carte Services:

  • Assist Renewal & Open Enrollment Process

  • Support Open Enrollment season (i.e. internal communications, set up HRIS enrollment portal, employee-benefits faire, employee-support, carrier-collaboration, etc.)

  • Manage Change-in-Carrier(s) (i.e. collaborate, correspond, and provide requisite information to the Broker, Carrier, HRIS vendor, and employees)

  • Train employees who are new in administering the Health & Welfare Benefits plan (estimated 3-month contract period)

  • Work with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) vendor to set up eligibility and enrollment system

Special Projects - Examples:

  • Review policies, contracts, and employee-facing collateral to verify they reflect current practices

  • Update job titles, classifications, and salaries in HRIS

  • Verify and recertify eligibility status for dependents
